For me, W Hotel SEOUL is an unforgettable place. It is a place that received impressive marriage propose from Ims!

It is now slightly out of date, but they still keeping sensational and modern style. And then, they notice on the new about 'Leaving Starwood On January 1, 2017'. It means, The W Seoul Walkerhill will be leaving the Starwood system on January 1, 2017. Reservations for dates on or after January 1, 2017 will not be eligible for Starwood Preferred Guest membership benefits, award redemption or accrual. Many visitors like the W Hotel, but they also come to maintain the SPG member benefit, and there was only one W Hotel in South Korea, but it's gone. Anyway, I am cheering for the new start of this hotel and going to review my last visit.

I did not visit W Hotel Seoul in the last several years, so appearance of the lobby may have changed or not, it was very hot place at the time. This is because works that seem to look like installation art were displayed all over the place.

Room

The room a studio suite, Wonderful Room- with two Egg chairs and a round bed, it's W Hotel's symbol. This room is one of 11 rooms in W Seoul, 70 square meters. Amenities are 'Bliss', favorite brand of Koreans(It has shops in many department stores in here). I was afraid that I may feel uncomfortable because of the round bed design, but it is enough for two people and the bedding is more comfortable than I thought. Rather, it gave me a sweet dream!

As soon as I entered the room, I saw a soft rose petal on the floor. Oh, I really did not expect him asked me to marriage that day!

The staff at W Seoul prepared my boyfriend 's very important marriage proposal party together and showed careful attention to all of the little things. And Ims said that he had made plans for D-Day before our visiting, with hotel staff.

It's a casual dining restaurant, most of visitors have a breakfast in here. I visited twice here, one for breakfast, and other day was Sunday Lunch buffet. Breakfast and Sunday lunch buffet offer very different foods. Personally, breakfast-only what is needed-rather than excellent. The wide glass window can be seen on the rainy day of Han River.

We were able to enjoy various facilities such as a spa and an indoor swimming pool, but we can't, because the time here went so fast. W Seoul Walkerhill, which is full of fun and interesting artistic work, is a hotel that you want to visit again.
